Was talking to my Host at the Mirage Last night making my plans for Las Vegas this Summer

I've been going to the Mirage since Dec of 1989, one month after it opened
Each and every Year we have stayed there 1-4 times a Year, last few years it has been down to once or twice, but Still the Place is like a 2nd Home.

She tells me last night that the Mirage no longer has Smoking Rooms/Suites

Yes I know to most of you, This is a Good thing .... But as a Smoker Currently ..... this is a BAD thing for me.

She did say that they will charge me $500 if they smell Smoke in the Room. ( $500 for Suites, $300 for Rooms )
She said that she might be able to Comp that charge. LOL .... But I would hate to pay that, or even use my comps towards a Smoking FEE.

My other option is to stay at another MGM properties
That kind of sucks because I would lose My Host. She has been my host for the past 11 years.

My Plan is to quit Jan. 1st 2017

I know I should just quit now .. but when I have a "Plan" I usually follow it. So I know it will work ... or i will try my very best.

I really don't want to use comps on Smoking Fees !!

She's getting back to me tonight to see what they can do.

if not, maybe I go to MGM Grand ... But I hate to lose this Host

I swear you said the same thing last year too. I never understood what cigarettes do positive in the consumers eyes? Plus that new years resolution shit is just an excuse. Wait 7 months to quit then barely quit lol. Cigarettes suck on so many levels.

and Yes, Cigs Suck ... but I don't do Drugs ( well cigs are a drug ) but you know what i mean, and I'm not a big Drinker ... so it's the only bad habit I have

about 2 years back we were in San juan ( which has No smoking in any Hotel ) just overnight to catch a cruise
smelled of weed in the hallway, and said Fuck it let me smoke my cigs .... I get a knock on the door saying someone complained about my smoking ...
I was like do you smell the fuking Weed ... they said there were No complaints about that !!!!!!!!!
